SUMMARY:Sister Sadie
DESCRIPTION:There was no master plan. No label strategy. Just a spontaneous jam at Nashville’s Station Inn between a few friends—seasoned\nplayers\, all women\, making a little noise. But something clicked. The room lit up\, the crowd roared\, and Sister Sadie was born. \nWhat started as an accidental band became a force. GRAMMY-nominated. IBMA-decorated. Opry-validated. But for all the\naccolades\, they were often reduced to one line: an all-female bluegrass band. True—but never the point. Sister Sadie has always\nbeen about the music. The fire. The truth. \nTheir new album\, All Will Be Well\, is that truth—loud\, fearless\, and free. You’ll hear echoes of bluegrass\, but what rises is\nsomething bigger: country with claws\, Americana with muscle\, gospel grit and raw storytelling. \nFrom the haunting “Prodigal Daughter” to the swagger of “Do What You Want” and the aching beauty of “If I Don’t Have You\,”\nthese six women are not performing roles—they’re telling you who they are. \nThis is Sister Sadie\, evolved: bold\, bonded\, and braver than ever. They’re not asking for space. They’re taking it. \nAnd they’re just getting started. \n\n\n\n\nArtist WebsiteFollow on Facebook

SUMMARY:The French Family Band
DESCRIPTION:Country music just sounds better when a family sings it. That’s where it all began: mothers\, fathers\, grandparents\, aunts\, uncles\, and cousins\, all huddled together\, picking and singing on a porch in the twilight. That’s why when The French Family launch into the bittersweet ache of a classic or the startling tenderness of one of their self-penned original songs\, the hairs on country music loving necks stand up\, and we instinctively––sometimes tearfully––recognize this father\, mother\, and son as the real thing. Touring over the last almost 20 years as Camille and Stuie\, the husband-and-wife duo became beloved in Australia. Stuie is a monster player with chops that sublimely meld the virtuosity and instinct of jazz with the clear tone and restraint of American hillbilly roots music. Camille holds a once-in-a-generation voice: somehow both crisply expressive and immeasurably rich and smooth\, she can sit back to soothe in a pocket before jumping out to thrill. Now based in Nashville and with the addition of middle son Sonny on stage\, The French Family is acclimating to life stateside––deep roots in tow. “I love being able to share our family music with people\,” says Camille. “I think people crave it. They come up and tell me how much they love seeing the love among our family and what we do––and I love being able to share that with everybody.” \nStuie agrees\, adding\, “We hope our music takes people back to a time when the essence of country music was twangy guitars\, honest songs\, and vocals that tear your heart out.” \nDoors open at 7pm. Show begins at 8pm. All tickets here are first come\, first served at the door. So if you are in the area\, plan to come down and enjoy live music with a pizza and a beer (or two!) \n\nArtist websiteFollow on FacebookFollow on Instagram

SUMMARY:Lauren Mascitti
DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Station Inn for a great night of music with Lauren Mascitti! \n\n\nYou might remember Lauren Mascitti from this past season of ABC’s “American Idol.” Mostly known for her solo round performance during Hollywood Week of a song she penned herself and dedicated to her nana titled “God Made A Woman\,” she quickly became a fan favorite. During the Top 40 showcase in Hawaii\, however\, she became part of a history-making and controversial vote for the last spot in AI’s Top 20. Although she didn’t win the vote\, putting her in 21st place\, outraged Idol fans catapulted Lauren’s newest independent album release “God Made a Woman” to #4 on the iTunes Country Albums Chart within a day of her elimination. Lauren is determined to keep the fire burning bright using her momentum and success from her Idol experience as fuel. #21 just might be Lauren’s magic number… \nYears before Lauren Mascitti’s newest release\, God Made a Woman\, helped build a bridge between the traditional twang of her country influences and the modern melodies of her Nashville contemporaries\, the songwriter grew up in the small farm community of Louisville\, Ohio\, raised on the sounds of her grandparents’ music collection. Her Nana was a fan of old-school soul and gospel music. Her Papaw loved outlaw country stars like Waylon Jennings. Lauren rolled those influences into her own sound\, recording her first album at 7 years old and quickly growing into a seasoned performer\, skilled multi-instrumentalist\, and expressive storyteller. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNine albums later\, Lauren’s story remains grounded in the cultural tapestry of her upbringing. A proud Italian-American\, she grew up with the songs of her favorite Italian-American artists\, whose classic melodies inspired her own songwriting. Equally inspirational were the Saturday nights of her childhood\, when Lauren would often stay up late to watch singers like Crystal Gayle on The Statler Brothers Show. Come Sunday\, she’d be at her beloved church\, Trinity Gospel Temple\, singing in the choir and leading praise and worship in the youth group. Mentored at the age of 7 by choir member Cheryl Jamison\, Lauren developed a strong voice and began recording her own gospel albums while still in elementary school. By 12 years old\, she had released four solo records and moved to Branson\, Missouri\, where she balanced her schoolwork with nightly performances alongside gospel singer (and original Oak Ridge Boy) Gary McSpadden. She played six shows a week at the Americana Theater\, becoming a professional singer before she was even a teenager. \nMeanwhile\, Lauren was also growing into a seasoned songwriter. Strumming an old Gibson Dove acoustic guitar that had once belonged to her great-grandfather\, she wrote her first songs as a young teenager\, drawing not only upon her background as a gospel singer\, but also her love of poetry and a lifelong appreciation for classic country music. She started making regular trips to Nashville at the age of 13. There\, she studied with renowned vocal coach Brett Manning\, played her original music at local songwriters showcases\, and began planning her move to the big city. Lauren recorded her first batch of original songs at 15 years old and even scored a hit with “Child of God\,” which debuted at number 70 on the national Southern Gospel radio chart. In the meantime\, Lauren was still traveling from church to church with her music ministry\, as well as anywhere else her Nana drove her. \nLauren eventually did move to Nashville\, but not before graduating college with a degree as a registered nurse. “I work with people at different stages in their lives\,” she says of her ongoing work as an RN\, “and I’ve heard so many stories. The whole experience has inspired me. I’ve learned a lot about people and what they’ve gone through.” During her off-the-clock hours\, Lauren continued writing songs\, sometimes alone and sometimes with the input of co-writers like Pam Tillis\, Matraca Berg\, Mo Pitney\, Bobby Tomberlin\, Wil Nance\, Bill Whyte\, Ronnie Bowman\, Renee Martin\, and more. She also struck up a partnership with Grammy Award-winning producer\, Shawn Camp\, who produced Lauren’s strongest album to date: 2020’s God Made a Woman. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA heavily autobiographical album featuring performances from bluegrass icon Ricky Skaggs\, pedal steel legend Paul Franklin\, and others\, God Made a Woman finds Lauren singing about her childhood stomping grounds (“I Wanna Show You My Town”)\, her work as a nurse (“Hello Sad Eyes”)\, and her faith in God (“Ready For The Sun To Shine Again”). The album was recorded at the legendary Butcher Shoppe and engineered by the great Sean Sullivan\, with Lauren tracking her vocals alongside a all-star band that included dobro player Jimmy Stewart (Brooks & Dunn)\, drummer Larry Atamanuik (Emmylou Harris\, Allison Krauss)\, guitar hero Guthrie Trapp (Jerry Douglas\, Patty Loveless)\, keyboardist Peter Wasner (Vince Gill)\, upright bassist Mike Bub (Ashley Monroe\, Vince Gill)\, fiddle player Aubrey Haynie (The Time Jumpers)\, and Shawn Camp (Guy Clark\, Garth Brooks). The result is an album about a young woman finding her place in the world and in the music industry. Lauren has found her sound\, too — a sound that is empowered\, eclectic\, and similarly soothing as her RN work. \n“I grew up with gospel and traditional country\,” explains the songwriter\, who updates the classic sounds of her childhood on the new record\, “but this album is about more than tradition. I want to put a fresh spin on everything\, while still grounding it in an earthy\, rootsy vein. God Made a Woman is a mix of the traditional and the fresh.” \nLauren has always been fond of the classics. “I’m an old soul\,” she admits\, “and everything I really love tends to come from a time that’s before my own.” With God Made a Woman\, though\, she mixes the classic sound of her influences with modern appeal. It’s an honest album grounded in one woman’s personal history — her gospel-filled church services in Ohio; her Nana’s favorite soul songs; her Papaw’s country cassettes; her many performances at Italian-American events like the Dean Martin Festival — with a fresh spin. \nGod Made a Woman is Lauren Mascitti not only as her most compelling\, but at her most fully realized. This is her story\, told song by song. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nArtist WebsiteFollow on Facebook

DESCRIPTION:She got her start at age 7 in the middle of an Arkansas rodeo arena\, singing the national anthem. Hope\, Arkansas native\, Mae Estes hasn’t stopped singing since. Paying dues in Music City for nearly a decade\, she’s now stacked with stories to tell. In 2019\, Estes began releasing music and signed her first publishing deal with Plaid Flag Music in 2020. SUMMARY:The Kody Norris Show
DESCRIPTION:Whatever you do\, don’t call The Kody Norris Show ‘retro.’ \nBecause while the reigning SPBGMA Entertainers of the Year are known for the rhinestones that shine\nfrom their lapels and the fringe that hangs from their collars seem to conjure up memories of times\ngone by\, The Kody Norris Show are very much directing their gaze forever forward. \nNow\, more than ever before. \nThe talented group\, made up of frontman Kody Norris\, Josiah Tyree\, Mary Rachel Nalley-Norris\, and\nCharlie Lowman\, finds themselves with a growing legion of fans craving the comfort that comes from\ntheir retro look\, but equally craving dynamic instrumentation and thought-provoking lyrics – all of\nwhich can be heard throughout their epic new album Rhinestone Revival. \n“There is a whole chapter of country music that’s just kind of faded away\,” The Kody Norris Show’s\nfrontman once said. “I believe The Kody Norris Show has been instrumental in bringing back some of\nthat nostalgia and some of that classic look that country music and bluegrass music used to have.”\nThe foundations of the electrifying four-piece band can be found within the roots of Kody Norris\nhimself\, a once inquisitive youngster from Mountain City\, Tennessee who would spend hours sitting in\nthe passenger seat of his Uncle Jack’s Chevrolet El Camino listening to the entirety of The Stanley\nBrothers 16 Greatest Hits tape\, wondering if he would ever be able to match the sweet harmonies\ncoming through the speakers. \nIt was those very harmonies that Norris also would recognize wavering through the rafters of the\nBaptist church he attended as a kid. There was a bluegrass quartet that would play in the Free Will\nBaptist Church\, and soon Norris became infatuated with the music that could materialize from a\nbanjo and a guitar. So\, at nine years old\, he picked up the mandolin. \nAnd he never put it down. \nIt was a similar love affair of music for Mary Rachel Nalley-Norris\, who started playing classical violin\nin the fourth grade\, but by the fifth grade\, she knew it wasn’t for her. Instead\, in a quest to differentiate\nherself from her musical counterparts in her grade school orchestra\, she took up the fiddle. She\nbegan playing the festival circuit alongside the likes of the legendary Larry Sparks and the Lonesome\nRamblers and soon became one of the most dynamic females on those festival stages. \nIt was on that stage she eventually met her husband Kody\, who had already gone on to play alongside\nthe likes of Ralph Stanley\, Ralph Stanley II\, and Joe Isaacs throughout his already impressive career.\nIn 2017\, banjo extraordinaire Josiah Tyree signed on with The Kody Norris Show\, and soon his\nold-time clawhammer style fit right into the bluegrass style that the band was becoming known for\nacross the country. And when bass player Charlie Lowman joined in on the fun\, armed with a\ngiddiness and love for the music that he plays that soon became infectious\, The Kody Norris Show as\nwe now know it was complete. \nIt was musical magic at its finest. \nIt’s this easy-going nature that became downright illuminated on 2017’s When I Get the Money Made\,\nwhich was named Bluegrass Album of the Year by the National Traditional Country Music\nAssociation. The Kody Norris Show followed it up with 2019’s All Suited Up\, which debuted at #7 on\nthe Billboard charts. Now playing over 100 dates a year across the country and around the world\, The\nKody Norris Show have been part of the University of Chicago Folk Festival and are part of two weekly\nprograms on the acclaimed RFD-TV’s network\, The Cumberland Highlanders Show and The Bluegrass\nTrail. \nBut with the release of Rhinestone Revival comes a feeling that listeners have just begun to witness\nThe Kody Norris Show’s very own revival\, as the band finds themselves sprinkling their iconic\nrhinestones on a few different music genres to solidify their place on the musical landscape.\nAnd the fans can’t get enough. \nIn fact\, it’s those fans that have raised The Kody Norris Show to a place in which they stand today\, a\nplace where the four-piece\, multi-instrumentalist\, bluegrass band are quickly becoming four of the\nmost epic entertainers of our time. Add that to the songwriting displayed on the Kody Norris-penned\n“Baltimore I’m Leaving\,” “Fiddler’s Rock\,” “Please Tell Me Why\,” and the infectious “Gotta Get My Baby\nBack” on Rhinestone Revival\, and there is no doubt that The Kody Norris Show is as current as ever. \nThey ain’t retro. They have something different. They have something uniquely theirs. They have\nsomething that makes them stand out. \n“We want people to know who we are\,” Norris once said. \nAnd they will.

DESCRIPTION:Shawn is a three-time GRAMMY nominee and 28-time IBMA Award winner with Blue Highway.   Heralded as a vocalist and instrumentalist\, Lane is explosive on fiddle\, mandolin\, and guitar.  Shawn is also a respected songwriter\, and was nominated as 2015 IBMA Songwriter of the Year\, penning such iconic songs as The Game\, Sycamore Hollow\, and Tears Fell on Missouri.  Lane played in the bands of both Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunderand Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver prior to becoming a founding member of Blue Highway in 1994. \nRichard is a respected guitarist\, vocalist\, and songwriter who began his musical journey at the young age of seven. By age 15\, the East Tennessee native was touring with former Flatt & Scruggs fiddle player Benny Sims.  Gigs at Dollywood followed\, with his big break coming in the 1990’s as he joined the legendary J.D. Crowe & The New South.  Bennett appeared on Crowe’s 1995 album “Flashback\,” which was nominated for two GRAMMY Awards.  He went on to tour with greats like Bobby Osbourne\, Mike Auldridge\, and Jimmy Gaudreau.  Richard also released several solo and trio albums on Lonesome Day and Pinecastle Records.  His projects have garnered radio airplay across the musical genres of Bluegrass\, Folk and Americana. \nShawn and Richard started writing songs together two years ago. Crowe & the New South reunion band\, Flashback\, while Shawn shines in the legendary multi-award winning supergroup he co-founded\, Blue Highway.
