SUMMARY:Tim O'Brien
DESCRIPTION:Born in Wheeling\, West Virginia in 1954\, Grammy winning singer songwriter and multi- instrumentalist Tim O’Brien grew up singing in church and in school. After seeing Doc Watson on TV\, he became a lifelong devotee of old time and bluegrass music. Tim started touring nationally in 1978 with Colorado bluegrass band Hot Rize. His songs “Walk the Way the Wind Blows” and “Untold Stories” were bluegrass hits for Hot Rize\, and country hits for Kathy Mattea. Soon more artists like Nickel Creek\, Garth Brooks\, and The Dixie Chicks covered his songs. Over the years\, Tim has collaborated with his sister Mollie O’Brien\, songwriter Darrell Scott\, and noted old-time musician Dirk Powell\, as well as with Steve Earle\, Mark Knopfler\, Dan Auerbach and Sturgill Simpson. \nLiving in Nashville since 1996\, O’Brien’s skills on guitar\, mandolin\, fiddle\, and banjo make him an in-demand session player. A voracious reader who loves to cook\, he tours throughout the US and abroad\, most often with his wife Jan Fabricius on mandolin and vocals. The International Bluegrass Music Association awarded him song of the year in 2006 and named him best male vocalist in 1993 and 2006.  He was inducted into the West Virginia Music Hall of Fame in 2013 and into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame in 2022. \nO’Brien’s 2023 release “Cup of Sugar” featured songs about an angry bear\, a millionaire dog\, his neighbor\, and Walter Cronkite. Other notable recordings include the bluegrass Dylan covers of “Red on Blonde”\, the Celtic-Appalachian fusion of “The Crossing”\, and the Grammy winning folk of “Fiddler’s Green”. His duet recording “Real Time” with Darrell Scott is a cult favorite\, and he won a bluegrass Grammy as part of “The Earls of Leicester”. A set of 15 new originals co-written with Jan Fabricius and Tom Paxton\, “Paper Flowers” will be released in April. \n\nArtist Website

SUMMARY:Mae Estes
DESCRIPTION:She got her start at age 7 in the middle of an Arkansas rodeo arena\, singing the national anthem. Hope\, Arkansas native\, Mae Estes hasn’t stopped singing since. Paying dues in Music City for nearly a decade\, she’s now stacked with stories to tell. In 2019\, Estes began releasing music and signed her first publishing deal with Plaid Flag Music in 2020. She’s since racked up more than 13 million streams across platforms and over 1M views on YouTube\, independently and organically building a quickly-growing fan base with her “plain-spoken truth” (The Boot). In 2022\, “Thinkin Bout Cheatin’” became the first release from her debut EP as well as her first video feature on CMT. That same year\, Mae was honored with Arkansas CMA Female Vocalist of the Year for the second time. In 2023\, Estes independently released her debut EP\, “Before the Record”\, a six-song project produced by hit songwriter Paul Sikes. Later that year\, she announced a signing with Big Machine Records\, WME Agency\, Kobalt Music\, and Blue Bronco Entertainment. Post-pandemic events such as The Grand Ole Opry\, NHL Stadium Series\, PBR Stadium Series\, Music City Grand Prix\, Wrangler’s National Finals Rodeo\, The Bluebird Cafe\, CMA Fest\, Nissan Stadium\, The Country Music Hall of Fame and more have hosted this “stone-cold country newcomer” (Whiskey Riff). AIMP’s 2024 Rising Artist-Writer of the Year winner is one of the key Country females to watch\, being named to CMT’s Next Women of Country Class of 2024 and a slew of artist watch lists (iHeart Media\, Wide Open Country\, Cowgirl Magazine\, Entertainment Focus\, Country Now\, etc.) Estes prioritizes supporting our servicemen and women\, having toured internationally with Armed Forces Entertainment and CreatiVets. She joins a a host of fellow country artists and festivals on tour this year\, while releasing new music from her upcoming project. \n\n\n\n\nArtist Website

SUMMARY:Lauren Mascitti
DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Station Inn for a great night of music with Lauren Mascitti! \n\n\nYou might remember Lauren Mascitti from this past season of ABC’s “American Idol.” Mostly known for her solo round performance during Hollywood Week of a song she penned herself and dedicated to her nana titled “God Made A Woman\,” she quickly became a fan favorite. During the Top 40 showcase in Hawaii\, however\, she became part of a history-making and controversial vote for the last spot in AI’s Top 20. Although she didn’t win the vote\, putting her in 21st place\, outraged Idol fans catapulted Lauren’s newest independent album release “God Made a Woman” to #4 on the iTunes Country Albums Chart within a day of her elimination. Lauren is determined to keep the fire burning bright using her momentum and success from her Idol experience as fuel. #21 just might be Lauren’s magic number… \nYears before Lauren Mascitti’s newest release\, God Made a Woman\, helped build a bridge between the traditional twang of her country influences and the modern melodies of her Nashville contemporaries\, the songwriter grew up in the small farm community of Louisville\, Ohio\, raised on the sounds of her grandparents’ music collection. Her Nana was a fan of old-school soul and gospel music. Her Papaw loved outlaw country stars like Waylon Jennings. Lauren rolled those influences into her own sound\, recording her first album at 7 years old and quickly growing into a seasoned performer\, skilled multi-instrumentalist\, and expressive storyteller. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNine albums later\, Lauren’s story remains grounded in the cultural tapestry of her upbringing. A proud Italian-American\, she grew up with the songs of her favorite Italian-American artists\, whose classic melodies inspired her own songwriting. Equally inspirational were the Saturday nights of her childhood\, when Lauren would often stay up late to watch singers like Crystal Gayle on The Statler Brothers Show. Come Sunday\, she’d be at her beloved church\, Trinity Gospel Temple\, singing in the choir and leading praise and worship in the youth group. Mentored at the age of 7 by choir member Cheryl Jamison\, Lauren developed a strong voice and began recording her own gospel albums while still in elementary school. By 12 years old\, she had released four solo records and moved to Branson\, Missouri\, where she balanced her schoolwork with nightly performances alongside gospel singer (and original Oak Ridge Boy) Gary McSpadden. She played six shows a week at the Americana Theater\, becoming a professional singer before she was even a teenager. \nMeanwhile\, Lauren was also growing into a seasoned songwriter. Strumming an old Gibson Dove acoustic guitar that had once belonged to her great-grandfather\, she wrote her first songs as a young teenager\, drawing not only upon her background as a gospel singer\, but also her love of poetry and a lifelong appreciation for classic country music. She started making regular trips to Nashville at the age of 13. There\, she studied with renowned vocal coach Brett Manning\, played her original music at local songwriters showcases\, and began planning her move to the big city. Lauren recorded her first batch of original songs at 15 years old and even scored a hit with “Child of God\,” which debuted at number 70 on the national Southern Gospel radio chart. In the meantime\, Lauren was still traveling from church to church with her music ministry\, as well as anywhere else her Nana drove her. \nLauren eventually did move to Nashville\, but not before graduating college with a degree as a registered nurse. “I work with people at different stages in their lives\,” she says of her ongoing work as an RN\, “and I’ve heard so many stories. The whole experience has inspired me. I’ve learned a lot about people and what they’ve gone through.” During her off-the-clock hours\, Lauren continued writing songs\, sometimes alone and sometimes with the input of co-writers like Pam Tillis\, Matraca Berg\, Mo Pitney\, Bobby Tomberlin\, Wil Nance\, Bill Whyte\, Ronnie Bowman\, Renee Martin\, and more. She also struck up a partnership with Grammy Award-winning producer\, Shawn Camp\, who produced Lauren’s strongest album to date: 2020’s God Made a Woman. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA heavily autobiographical album featuring performances from bluegrass icon Ricky Skaggs\, pedal steel legend Paul Franklin\, and others\, God Made a Woman finds Lauren singing about her childhood stomping grounds (“I Wanna Show You My Town”)\, her work as a nurse (“Hello Sad Eyes”)\, and her faith in God (“Ready For The Sun To Shine Again”). The album was recorded at the legendary Butcher Shoppe and engineered by the great Sean Sullivan\, with Lauren tracking her vocals alongside a all-star band that included dobro player Jimmy Stewart (Brooks & Dunn)\, drummer Larry Atamanuik (Emmylou Harris\, Allison Krauss)\, guitar hero Guthrie Trapp (Jerry Douglas\, Patty Loveless)\, keyboardist Peter Wasner (Vince Gill)\, upright bassist Mike Bub (Ashley Monroe\, Vince Gill)\, fiddle player Aubrey Haynie (The Time Jumpers)\, and Shawn Camp (Guy Clark\, Garth Brooks). The result is an album about a young woman finding her place in the world and in the music industry. Lauren has found her sound\, too — a sound that is empowered\, eclectic\, and similarly soothing as her RN work. \n“I grew up with gospel and traditional country\,” explains the songwriter\, who updates the classic sounds of her childhood on the new record\, “but this album is about more than tradition. I want to put a fresh spin on everything\, while still grounding it in an earthy\, rootsy vein. God Made a Woman is a mix of the traditional and the fresh.” \nLauren has always been fond of the classics. “I’m an old soul\,” she admits\, “and everything I really love tends to come from a time that’s before my own.” With God Made a Woman\, though\, she mixes the classic sound of her influences with modern appeal. It’s an honest album grounded in one woman’s personal history — her gospel-filled church services in Ohio; her Nana’s favorite soul songs; her Papaw’s country cassettes; her many performances at Italian-American events like the Dean Martin Festival — with a fresh spin. \nGod Made a Woman is Lauren Mascitti not only as her most compelling\, but at her most fully realized. This is her story\, told song by song. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nArtist WebsiteFollow on Facebook

SUMMARY:Johnny & The Yooahoos
DESCRIPTION:A lot has happened since the four boys from “Johnny & the Yooahoos” first took to the stages of southern Germany in 2018. \nSince then\, the combo has been welcomed to festivals in France\, Ireland\, Holland\, Austria and Switzerland and\, as winners of the IBMA International Band Grant\, will even have a five-week tour of the USA in summer 2025 with renowned venues such as the Grand Ole Opry and the Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival on their tour calendar. As far as their music is concerned\, the Yooahoos\, still playing purely acoustically with banjo\, mandolin\, guitar\, double bass and three-part vocals\, have remained true to themselves: they continue to celebrate American folk music in their own way by mixing traditional bluegrass and contemporary folk in an authentic\, down-to-earth manner\, placing themselves somewhere between urban haze and rural idyll\, many tones and indispensable rawness\, nostalgia for the past and a look to the future and the here and now. \nSo come\, listen and be amazed when “Johnny & the Yooahoos” play! \n\n

SUMMARY:The French Family Band
DESCRIPTION:Country music just sounds better when a family sings it. That’s where it all began: mothers\, fathers\, grandparents\, aunts\, uncles\, and cousins\, all huddled together\, picking and singing on a porch in the twilight. That’s why when The French Family launch into the bittersweet ache of a classic or the startling tenderness of one of their self-penned original songs\, the hairs on country music loving necks stand up\, and we instinctively––sometimes tearfully––recognize this father\, mother\, and son as the real thing. Touring over the last almost 20 years as Camille and Stuie\, the husband-and-wife duo became beloved in Australia. Stuie is a monster player with chops that sublimely meld the virtuosity and instinct of jazz with the clear tone and restraint of American hillbilly roots music. Camille holds a once-in-a-generation voice: somehow both crisply expressive and immeasurably rich and smooth\, she can sit back to soothe in a pocket before jumping out to thrill. Now based in Nashville and with the addition of middle son Sonny on stage\, The French Family is acclimating to life stateside––deep roots in tow. “I love being able to share our family music with people\,” says Camille. “I think people crave it. They come up and tell me how much they love seeing the love among our family and what we do––and I love being able to share that with everybody.” \nStuie agrees\, adding\, “We hope our music takes people back to a time when the essence of country music was twangy guitars\, honest songs\, and vocals that tear your heart out.” \nDoors open at 7pm. Show begins at 8pm. All tickets here are first come\, first served at the door. So if you are in the area\, plan to come down and enjoy live music with a pizza and a beer (or two!) \n\nArtist websiteFollow on FacebookFollow on Instagram

SUMMARY:The Tennessee Warblers
DESCRIPTION:A Nashville institution\, the Tennessee Warblers have been jamming folky grooves since 2014 with a rotating cast of pickin' pals culled from Music City's vibrant bluegrass and Grateful Dead community. \nJohn Beck and Adam Dalton met while performing together in various projects and bonded over the acoustic music of Jerry Garcia and David Grisman. On a winter's eve\, they tried their hands at co-writing and the song "Restless" was born. Soon thereafter the Warblers took flight performing in and around Music City before starting what was to become a 5 year residency at Nashville's legendary Sutler Saloon. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThere the group honed their sound and was featured on the Travel Channel's Food Paradise. In 2016 they released their debut EP of which the Murfreesboro Pulse called "a solid debut peppered with well-played instrumental breaks\, and recommended for fans of Americana and Southern folk." \nThey stayed busy touring\, performing at festivals (Hoedown on the Harpeth Bluegrass Festival\, Nashville Predators' Craft Beer Festival\, East Nashville Beer Festival) and periodically orchestrated tributes to their heroes\, performing Bob Dylan's Nashville Skyline and the Grateful Dead's Europe '72 albums in their entirety. \nAfter distilling some fresh songs\, they linked up with engineer Nathan Yarborough (The Mavericks\, Leanne Rimes\, Mastodon) to cut their debut record live in the warm wood walls of Madison\, TN's Bluegrass Compound. Seated together in a circle in the shotgun cabin hall\, they took turns calling tunes from their repertoire and let the tape roll. \nThe resulting record\, Small Town Songs\, was released in November 2022 to which Ana Lee of WMOT Roots Radio 89.5FM called\, "A really fun album. A lotta great covers. A lotta great originals." Edd Hurt of the Nashville Scene wrote\, "Small Town Songs makes me happy to know the Nashville bluegrass-Dead community is thriving." \nIn 2023 the group performed the record on their Small Towns Tour\, collaborated with Midnight North at the Touch of Brews Music Festival and of all things sang to Chuck Norris AND survived! \nThe band continues to serve up a fun mix of rootsy originals and cherry picked covers to all who'll lend an ear. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nArtist Website

SUMMARY:Sister Sadie
DESCRIPTION:There was no master plan. No label strategy. Just a spontaneous jam at Nashville’s Station Inn between a few friends—seasoned\nplayers\, all women\, making a little noise. But something clicked. The room lit up\, the crowd roared\, and Sister Sadie was born. \nWhat started as an accidental band became a force. GRAMMY-nominated. IBMA-decorated. Opry-validated. But for all the\naccolades\, they were often reduced to one line: an all-female bluegrass band. True—but never the point. Sister Sadie has always\nbeen about the music. The fire. The truth. \nTheir new album\, All Will Be Well\, is that truth—loud\, fearless\, and free. You’ll hear echoes of bluegrass\, but what rises is\nsomething bigger: country with claws\, Americana with muscle\, gospel grit and raw storytelling. \nFrom the haunting “Prodigal Daughter” to the swagger of “Do What You Want” and the aching beauty of “If I Don’t Have You\,”\nthese six women are not performing roles—they’re telling you who they are. \nThis is Sister Sadie\, evolved: bold\, bonded\, and braver than ever. They’re not asking for space. They’re taking it. \nAnd they’re just getting started. \n\n\n\n\nArtist WebsiteFollow on Facebook

SUMMARY:Remedy Tree
DESCRIPTION:Florida’s Americana ensemble Remedy Tree has achieved notable success\, securing second place at the prestigious SPBGMA National Band Championship. Following their signing with Mountain Fever Records in 2024\, the band has performed internationally\, showcasing their talents at Ireland’s Westport Folk and Bluegrass Festival. Remedy Tree has shared the stage with legendary artists such as Peter Rowan\, The Steeldrivers\, Ricky Skaggs\, Town Mountain\, Rhonda Vincent\, and Della Mae. As a selected 2023 IBMA Ramble Showcase band\, they have demonstrated their prowess within the industry. With a new album and larger shows on the horizon\, Remedy Tree is poised for a breakout year in 2025. Get ready to join the journey with this rising Americana sensation. \nRemedy Tree\, founded by Gabriel and Abigail Acevedo in 2015\, in its inception had a strong indie-folk sound. As time progressed Remedy Tree added a banjo player and were subsequently thrust into a bluegrass trajectory. Gabriel Acevedo was born in Bayamon Puerto Rico and was raised in rural Umatilla Florida. His Puerto Rican heritage and upbringing provides an outsider’s approach to the genre. Abigail was raised in folk and old-time music circles and traveled with her family band throughout her teen years. \nAn original music band at heart\, Remedy Tree combines the love for bluegrass\, an Appalachian old-time spirit\, and the folk melodies that started it all\, creating a truly unique Americana experience that provides a fresh perspective into where bluegrass is headed in the future. Remedy Tree recently welcomed Isaac Taylor (banjo) and Nathan Beaumont (mandolin) into the band\, some of the region’s best players\, further blossoming the Remedy Tree sound. \n\nArtist Website
