DESCRIPTION:Justin Reno and Jared Finck started playing music together after meeting at a local transmission shop jam.  Justin (a family physician by trade and 3rd generation bluegrasser by family) had just moved back to Gallatin to be closer to family\, and Jared had just left a very successful construction career in South Dakota to pursue a music career in Nashville. \nThey quickly added Aaron Civils\, at the time a 15 year old banjo player honing his fingerpicks\, and Christi Fulkerson\, a well established bassist and vocalist in the bluegrass community.  Derek Dillman\, whose own tremendous musical career involves playing with the likes of Jimmy Martin\, Marty Raybon\, among many others\, rounded things out perfectly. \nAs it so often does\, their shared love of bluegrass has developed into a close musical friendship.  Pulling from their deep ties to Monroe\, Haggard\, the Osborne Brothers\, Reno and Smiley\, they showcase originals\, old standards\, and a general joy of making music together.

They live in the San Juan Islands of Washington\, though until recently\, home was Portland\, OR. They are foundational to the exceptional old-time and country music scene in the Pacific NW with the Caleb Klauder Reeb Willms Country Band and their membership in the Foghorn Stringband\, of which Caleb was a founding member. Charismatic performers\, they bring their unique set of talents to the stage with an eye towards good times and an ear towards the deepest songs and tunes.  \nCaleb Klauder and Reeb Willms both originally hail from Washington State: Caleb from the coastal islands\, and Reeb from the high desert plateau. The two have come together in music and are hailed as some of the most compelling musicians making country roots music in America today. Country music is the music of working people who use it to pass the time and forget about the ever-present hardships in their lives. After years of touring together\, Reeb and Caleb work intuitively.  \nCaleb’s study and understanding of roots music is so dedicated and rich\, that he can hauntingly immerse himself in the same perspective of those old primitive country composers and write as if he was right beside them. Their album Innocent Road includes a clutch of lovingly arranged Klauder originals\, along with well-placed and rare covers. SUMMARY:Tim O'Brien
DESCRIPTION:Born in Wheeling\, West Virginia in 1954\, Grammy winning singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Tim O’Brien grew up singing in church and in school. After seeing Doc Watson on TV\, he became a lifelong devotee of old time and bluegrass music. Tim started touring nationally in 1978 with Colorado bluegrass band Hot Rize. His songs “Walk the Way the Wind Blows” and “Untold Stories” were bluegrass hits for Hot Rize\, and country hits for Kathy Mattea. Soon more artists like Nickel Creek\, Garth Brooks\, and The Dixie Chicks covered his songs. Over the years\, Tim has collaborated with his sister Mollie O’Brien\, songwriter Darrell Scott\, and noted old-time musician Dirk Powell\, as well as with Steve Earle\, Mark Knopfler\, Dan Auerbach\, Sturgill Simpson\, and Steve Martin. \nLiving in Nashville since 1996\, O’Brien’s skills on guitar\, mandolin\, fiddle\, and banjo make him an in- demand session player. He tours in a duet setting with his wife Jan Fabricius on mandolin and vocals\, and in a band the includes bassist Mike Bub\, fiddler Shad Cobb\, and Fabricius. A voracious reader who loves to cook\, he has two sons\, Jackson (born 1982) and Joel (born 1990). The International Bluegrass Music Association awarded him song of the year in 2006 and named him best male vocalist in 1993 and 2006.
