Justin Reno and Jared Finck started playing music together after meeting at a local transmission shop jam. Justin (a family physician by trade and 3rd generation bluegrasser by family) had just moved back to Gallatin to be closer to family, and Jared had just left a very successful construction career in South Dakota to pursue a music career in Nashville.
They quickly added Aaron Civils, at the time a 15 year old banjo player honing his fingerpicks, and Christi Fulkerson, a well established bassist and vocalist in the bluegrass community. Derek Dillman, whose own tremendous musical career involves playing with the likes of Jimmy Martin, Marty Raybon, among many others, rounded things out perfectly.
As it so often does, their shared love of bluegrass has developed into a close musical friendship. Pulling from their deep ties to Monroe, Haggard, the Osborne Brothers, Reno and Smiley, they showcase originals, old standards, and a general joy of making music together.
